LVECare and Group Homes Changes Lives

Over 6 million individuals in the United States have developmental disabilities. LVECare understands that there’s no “one-size-fits-all” solution, and therefore we tailor our homes and services to accommodate the specialized needs of each of our individual members.

It’s difficult to define the limits of people with disabilities as we continue to discover their extraordinary hidden abilities. While these courageous individuals face a more challenging future than most, they can still enjoy a full and active life. What they need most is encouragement, understanding, and the willingness of others to help them maximize their opportunities. Our well trained, experienced staff provides a supportive and nurturing environment, and strive to empower our members to become as independent as possible, so that they can contribute to their communities.

As part of our 'person-centered care' process, we strive to instill in our staff, Servant Leadership principles across our organization - the benefits of which include: active listening, empathy, awareness, persuasion, foresight, commitment to growth and emancipation, as well as community and relationship building. We also feel it’s important to provide continued support for our employees which helps nurture organizational excellence and outcomes for the individuals and families we serve each day.
